Part of an older concept I did for an extension to the Tower space. I wanted to bring back the iconic tree from D1 into a courtyard where players would go to gather and watch others rank up. Since the tower is a refuge and culmination of many cultures after the Collapse, I liked the idea of incorporating something like a wishing tree to represent a custom practiced by multiple cultures throughout the world. Something where even after all that’s happened, people still carry on placing their hopes and dreams to the tree while celebrating one another’s accomplishments. Something to remind us of the world that once was, etc. I may have snuck a bust of Cayde-6 in as well... and maybe the Colonel too.
